So you’re paying someone to build your website, you’re paying for a GSuite account, plus business set up costs, the list goes on! To make your marketing impactful you also need good images, they should be high quality and tie in with your branding. However, these needn’t come at another extra cost, there are plenty of good free stock image sites you can use to create amazing graphics. Once you have the images you can then use a site such as Canva to edit, add text, borders, effects and more.
Some favourite sites of ours are Pixabay, Unsplash, Pexels and Free Images. Shutterstock are also doing a new member offer of 10 free images, just make sure you cancel before the end of the first month, otherwise, you’ll be charged! The key to finding good and relevant images is being clear in your search terms and then filtering the results as you’ll get thousands of results sometimes! We like to filter for colour, for example, pink for our branding. You can find some really good images with a bit of perseverance.
Once you have your image you may want to turn it into a flyer or infographic, or a social post. You can do this using Canva, where you can also find some great images, even with the free package.
